Meet Erik.
I am Erik Covitz. I have over 30 years in the event industry as a printer of tickets to events all over the world. As a sales representative I have attended hundreds of trade shows of various industries and sizes. I have planned events for college fundraisers such as dances and dinners. As a volunteer and Rotarian, I have planned and participated in events such as professional and charity golf tournaments, student award banquets, teacher award banquets as well as district conferences, training seminars and bingo fundraisers. I even have some experience with more formal events such as weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs and New Year’s Eve parties.
My motto is similar to NIKE’s JUST DO IT when it comes to live events, JUST SHOW UP. This means that I have driven and flown to many events that I have been invited to as each one has its own personal touches that make that person, family and organization unique and you will never know what you can experience and learn unless you are physically present. Of course as the event organizer you cannot just show up and that is why I appreciate each event and the person, persons or committee that work hard and strive to make that event the very best it can be.
That is why I decided to build My Event Marketplace, to share my knowledge and help people make their events truly special.
How It Works

Consultation
The first step is for us to have a conversation whereby you describe your event while I listen and learn about you and the organization. This is a great way to bounce some ideas around and see what stage you are in within the planning process. This call is complimentary and a great way to get an extra point of view.

Planning
The next step is to formulate a timeline for your event. When to put tickets or registrations on sale, if fundraising, how do we communicate the raffle prizes to generate the highest interest and entries. What printed items may be required for the event and how much time is needed to produce and package them prior to the event.

Execution
We will work with you to gather the proper information to set up your website link to sell tickets to your events or create registration packages for attendees and clients. If your event is a fundraiser, we will work with you to create the online page for your organization. If desired, we can also assist with ordering any promotional products or gift items to compliment your event.
